This course meets the requirements for obtaining the South Dakota Enhanced Concealed Carry permit. Topics covered include South Dakota use of force law, pistol permit and firearm law, basics of safe and responsible pistol handling, self-defense principles, and live fire training. Designed with the new shooter in mind, Fundamental Pistol is everything you need to know as a new pistol shooter, or someone who wants to brush up on the basics.

Fundamental Pistol focuses heavily on building the foundation to high quailty, repeatable pistol shooting.

Advanced Pistol is exactly that, advanced. Advanced pistol is designed to stress test the concepts learned in Fundamental Pistol and South Dakota Enhanced Concealed Carry.

Prior training is required.

Topics covered include but may not be limited to:

- Drawing and firing from concealment

- Utilizing and shooting from cover and concealment effectively

- Shooting while on the move

- Other topics as time allows

Taught with adjunct instructor Justin Hoffman, The Rifleman will take a shooter from rifle shooting to rifle fighting.

Participants will learn the mindset, tactics, and skills needed to address and mitigate threats through defensive rifle application.
